I cannot get her to look at me when I want to temporarily blind her with that flash from my camera to take her picture. she is so smart...and annoying.
a lot of stuff going on here recently:
the courthouse downtown where you see all the folks filing in to here the court proceedings on TV regarding the FLDS children. we took this today as I didn't want to add to the congestion last week around the building.
the road to the coliseum where they are housing all the children:
we have heard that they will be placing all the children in foster care this week, probably around wednesday. we have a friend in the choir who is a lawyer who is representing 3 of the FLDS children. she still is not sure whose children they really are or if they are even related to each other as they keep giving conflicting information...
news from the johnson casa:
kenny got a call from the dermatologist. we have to go back to SA and have the moles completely removed, with clear margins. he has squamous cells at both sites. I guess he will have to start using an SPF 70 or higher sun screen. maybe an SPF sweat suit, or SPF just stay in side and look longingly out the window, sunscreen...
and he is having some spinal issues. degenerative discs and arthritis in his upper back. he sees the neurologist on tuesday for the tingling he is getting in his hands. he is hoping for some surgery, really awesome pain meds, and some serious time off from work. you know that dude has never been hopitalized, or had surgery?
lauren finished up some of her major projects for school last week. I got to help her take the centers up to ASU to be displayed - there was a lot of doo dads and stuff to transport. there are some pictures in the folder on the right. she leaves for germany the 1st of june. we have to get her to Dallas for the flight, so we will probably drive up the day before and see her off that way. she doesn't want to fly from here to there to meet up with everybody.
erin has been busy with school too, writing her papers and looking forward to the end of the semester.
emily is still busy with starbucks and trying to decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life...
and that about rounds up another week in the life of us. compelling blogging, I know.
more later,
Cj
isn't she cute? a one eyed pug named daisy...
I know, exciting stuff.
no-this is exciting stuff.
erin and lauren were laughing hysterically tonight and this is why:
peace out y'all
At least when I say you all live in San Angelo, everyone now knows where it is.
Bummer about Kenny's moles. His dad had a big squamos removed from his left temple about ten years ago. It also took two surgeries.
By the way, he has had surgery...had his tonsils out at age three. Please keep us posted.
