a quick trip down and back to san antonio
and the wild flowers are starting to bloom (click on the pictures to embiggen...)
another week or two and they will probably be awesome pretty.
kenny had a few biopsies, and a couple of cryo treatments when we were in san antonio. I'm good with the dermatologist now for another year.
lauren is working hard on her 'centers' for one of her education classes. she has to develop 8 different independent learning centers for the elementary school kids. her haiku zoo is very cute I think...
meanwhile, kenny has been busy with the boy scouts making the foot locker-type boxes for Jason's eagle scout project. these are to be donated to ft concho (where we are currently housing the women and children for the YFZ ranch in Eldorado)...
kenny had taken some pictures of the footlockers a few weeks ago at the fort for reference. this is one of the officer's quarters:
they will be painting the reproductions up next week I think.
other than that, it is another busy week gone, and another one about to start. I should have some finished knitted items to show off here soon. I decided I can't start anything new until I get a few in progess things finished. so there is a bit of a push to get stuff wrapped up. I am a bit of a serial knitter, always wanting to start something new...
More later,
Cj
What the heck are cryo treatments? Does that mean you cry "O" a lot?
Looks like Kenny's having fun with his scout project, and Lauren with her 'centers'.
Sister Peggy will be here this week on the way to visit her mom in Grand Island. She'll stay here Wed. night and we'll meet for lunch again next Wed. on her way home to Oregon. Always good to see her.
