Dear Ken and Gail,
Happy 50th anniversary!
It is hard for me to believe that you folks have been married that long. Really, I mean it is such a milestone. And I am sure it feels like the years went by very quickly. Or at least some of the years. (I would guess that the parents-of-teenagers years weren't over quick enough, but I digress...)
Anyway, something has been on my mind as this day got closer. I don't think I ever said thank you for raising a son who would grow up to be my husband. Silly man that he is...but seriously, if not for you two, my life would have been very different. Just as a ripple in a pond moves outward, touching many things as it moves along, you two have touched so many lives.
And since this is the age of the internet, I thought you might like to share the slide-show with your friends who are far and wide. Its not as clear as the DVD, but not too bad. Just send them the link to the blog, and they can click on the link below to view it on Youtube.
again, Happy Anniversary - here's to many, many more.
Love,
Carol
Oh...it's Kleenex time! Thank you so very much. We love you too.

Watching the video as a family was a wonderful experience. Thank you Carolyn. Memories are fickle in that they tend to escape you as time goes by. Pictures bring so much back to you. More than just the memories, it reminded us all that we are blessed with loving family. Your gift celebrated the amazing feat that two peopled have been happily wed for 50 years and reminded us that even though scattered throughout the country, we are all still together in so many ways. Thank you sweetie…
