from the hospital room

(I didn't know hospital's had WIFI - aawwesommmeee...)

it's been a rough evening.

started out okay after the surgery.  Kenny seemed pretty lucid, but still drifted in and out.  he ate some dinner and seemed to be in no pain, but maybe tried to do too much too quickly by walking down the hall.  not too later after that he was nauseous and was throwing up.

but he's now had another good dose of pain medication and something for the nausea and seems to be doing a lot better.  has eaten some crackers and looks to be a lot more comfortable.  We're going to see if we can get a couple of hours of sleep now...

I'll post again after we get home sometime tomorrow.

PS: we have some netflix lined up for tomorrow, and the season opener of WEEDS from last night.  I am hoping for a lot of recliner time for kenny over the next few days at least.

When you didn't call last night, I assumed you were still at the hospital. Poor baby! Hope this morning looks way better.

Thank God for Carolyn...the nurses were having a bad night or something and I was not getting much from them. Carolyn pretty much stayed up all night and took awesome care of me though. I had these huge hand bandages on that were about the size of boxing gloves...so I could not do much on my own. The first night was really bad...it felt like I had broken bones in my neck.

Over the bad part now.

Carolyn is a very special person to me...Wife...best freind...I am so thankful that she was there...
